Driver-X’s Contact Glove is a VR controller and haptic feedback tool that uses micro coils to provide a more realistic tactile experience in virtual reality. The gloves function as a controller using hand poses and gestures to mimic buttons and triggers found on traditional controllers. While the Contact Glove starts at around $1,850, which is less expensive than some alternatives, it is currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter. The goal has already been reached, and a working demo was demonstrated at CES, but it is important to note that the product is not yet available for purchase.
